Service · Get found

The three spots on the map.

When someone searches "plumber near me," Google shows a map and three businesses before any website. Your Business Profile decides whether you're one of them. We set it up properly, then keep it complete and active every week so it never goes stale.

  • Service-area setup, address hidden
  • Weekly posts and photos
  • Every review answered within a day
  • $499 per month, Found plan

In short

Almanac Office sets up and manages Google Business Profiles for Utah service businesses: service-area setup with the address hidden, the right primary and secondary categories, every service listed, accurate hours, and verification handled. After that we add photos and a post every week, answer every review within a day, and keep the details current. It's part of the Found plan at $499/month.

Setup

Get the foundation right once.

Most profiles we audit have the same problems: wrong primary category, half the services missing, a home address showing, and hours from two winters ago. Fixing them is the cheapest ranking work there is.

01 · Service area

Address hidden, towns listed.

If you work at customers' homes, Google wants your address hidden and your service area shown. We list the towns and counties you actually drive to.

02 · Categories

The primary category matters most.

"Plumber" versus "Water heater installation service" changes which searches you show up for. We pick the primary from what you most want, then add secondary categories that are true.

03 · Services

Every service listed.

Each service you offer, in the words customers use, with a short description and a price or range where you're comfortable showing one.

04 · Hours

Hours that match reality.

Regular hours, holiday hours, and a note if you take emergency calls. Wrong hours are one of the fastest ways to lose a customer's trust.

05 · Verification

Verified, whatever it takes.

Google decides how you verify. Often it's a short video showing your vehicle, tools, and signage. Sometimes it's a call, a text, or a postcard. We tell you exactly what to record or do.

06 · Links

Connected to your site.

Your profile links to the right page, with a booking link where Google allows it, and your website's details match the profile word for word.

Every week

An active profile looks like an active business.

A profile with no new photos since 2023 tells a customer something, even if it isn't true. The weekly work is small. Skipping it is how profiles go quiet.

  • Photos from real jobs. You or your crew snap a few on the job. We pick the good ones, crop them, and post them.
  • A weekly post. A recent job, a seasonal reminder like fall sprinkler blowouts or furnace tune-ups, or an update. Written for customers, not for Google.
  • Review replies within a day. Every review, good or bad, gets a reply. Negative ones wait for your approval. More on how review management works.
  • Questions answered. Where Google shows customer questions on your profile, we answer them with what's true and watch for wrong answers from strangers.
  • Edits caught. Anyone can suggest changes to your profile. We watch for edits to your hours, phone, or category and fix the wrong ones.
  • Details kept current. New services, changed hours, a new town you serve. Updated the same week.

Included in Found, $499/month.

Profile management comes with local SEO, review requests, hosting, and the monthly AI visibility check. The profile and your website rank better together than either does alone. If you're getting a new site, initial setup is part of Launch.

No contract and no ranking guarantees. Google decides the map pack. For what moves it, read how to rank in the Google map pack, and see every plan on the pricing page.

FAQ

Business Profile questions.

Should I hide my address on Google?

If customers don't come to you, yes. Google's guidelines say a service-area business that serves customers at their location should hide its address and list the areas it serves instead. A home address on your profile also invites people to show up at your door.

How does Google verify a business now?

It varies. Google picks the method, and many businesses are asked to record a short video showing the business, its equipment or vehicle, and proof they manage it. Others get phone, text, email, or a postcard. We prepare you for whichever one Google asks for.

Do Google posts actually help?

They show customers you're active and give Google fresh information about your services. Google doesn't publish how much they affect ranking, so we treat them as a steady habit, not a magic lever.

Can you get my suspended profile back?

Often, if the business is real and the profile follows Google's guidelines. We find what triggered it, fix the details, and file the reinstatement request with the evidence Google asks for. There's no guarantee on Google's decision.

Will you post on my behalf without asking?

Routine posts and photos go out on a schedule once you've approved the plan. Anything new, like a price or an offer, waits for your OK. Replies to negative reviews always wait for your approval.
