Service · AI for your business
You know you should be using AI. You don't have a free week to figure out how. In one working session we find the admin jobs eating your week, set up AI agents for them, and train you and your crew on real jobs until it sticks.
In short
AI Jumpstart is a one-time $750 working session from Almanac Office, in person in Utah or over video, for owners of local service businesses. We find the three admin jobs that take the most of your week, set up AI agents for them (drafting quotes from your price sheet, answering common customer questions, follow-ups, unpaid-invoice reminders), and train you and your crew on real jobs. You leave with working agents, a one-page prompt cheat sheet, and a check-in 30 days later.
Who it's for
If your day ends on a job site and your evening ends at the kitchen table with quotes and texts, this is for you.
The session
First hour
We walk through a normal week together: quotes, scheduling, follow-ups, invoices, reviews, and the texts that come in after dinner. We pick the three jobs that cost you the most time.
Same day
We set up an agent for each of the three, using your real price sheet, your real service list, and the way you actually talk to customers. Each one drafts, and you approve.
On your phone
You and your crew run them on this week's actual jobs while we're there. We fix what doesn't fit and write down the prompts that work, on one page.
A month later
We look at what you kept using and what you dropped, fix the ones that stalled, and set up the next job if there's time.
Examples by trade
Every business picks its own three. These are the kinds of jobs owners hand off most often.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, frequency, add-ons in. A priced quote out, in your wording, ready to send. Odd jobs get flagged for you to price.
"Do you charge a trip fee?" "Do you work on tankless?" Drafted replies from your own answers, so the 9pm texts take seconds.
A check-in two days after an unanswered patio quote, and a spring reminder to last year's cleanup customers.
Polite, escalating reminders for unpaid invoices, drafted on schedule so you don't have to write the awkward one.
The tech's quick notes from a furnace repair become a clean job summary for the customer and a review request that mentions the actual work.
Tomorrow's customers get a reminder with the time window and what to expect, and reschedule requests come back to you sorted.
Examples, not a menu. The trade labels are illustrative; most of these work in any service business. More ideas in how to use AI in your small business. Before the session, check which of your software connects to AI.
Ground rules
Every agent starts by drafting. You read it and send it. You can loosen that later for routine messages once an agent has earned it, but the default is that a person approves anything a customer sees.
Where we can, we build on tools you have: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365. We don't promise connections to specific field-service apps. We check what yours supports on the day.
Three agents set up and tested on your real work, a one-page sheet of the prompts that work for your business, and the 30-day check-in on the calendar.
It isn't a subscription to anything of ours, and it doesn't replace your office manager or crew. It takes the repetitive writing off their plates so they can do the parts that need a person.
Price
One session, in person anywhere in Utah or over video, plus the 30-day check-in. Works with or without a website from us. If the phone is the bigger problem than the paperwork, look at the AI receptionist instead.
AI tool subscriptions, if you need a new one, are paid to that company directly (which one to pick). See every offer on the pricing page.
FAQ
No. If you can text and use email, you can use these. The training happens on your own phone, on your own jobs, and you leave with a one-page cheat sheet.
Tools you already pay for where possible, like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365. If you don't use any yet, we help you pick one, and its subscription is paid to that company, not us.
Not at first. Every agent drafts and you approve before anything goes to a customer. Once you trust one, you can loosen that for routine messages. That's your call, not ours.
Sometimes. Some field-service apps connect to AI tools and some don't, and that changes often. We check yours during the session. Where there's no connection, the agent works from what you paste or forward to it.
No. Jumpstart works on its own. It's about your admin work, not your marketing.
No. It's one session, a flat $750, plus a 30-day check-in. There's nothing to cancel afterward.
Send your site. Within 48 hours you get a one-page teardown covering speed, search, Maps, reviews, calls, and AI visibility. No call required.
